DETROIT, MI, UNITED STATES, March 22, 2018 /EINPresswire.com/ -- The National Veterans Business Development Council (NVBDC) is honored to have Hallmark join the ranks as a corporate sponsor. Hallmark has been working with minority owned businesses since the 1960s and prides itself on working with a diverse group of partners. Their Supplier Diversity Program establishes business partnerships with companies that have advanced technology and can run their business efficiently. For certified Service Disabled and Veteran Owned Businesses (SD/VOBs) this presents another opportunity to have access to a well-recognized Supplier Diversity Program.

“We are proud to partner with and sponsor the NVBDC in their work to support and advance all sizes of veteran-owned businesses. At Hallmark we strongly believe in the value veterans can bring to a business, and we’re passionate about helping minority-owned businesses grow and succeed. We work with many veteran-owned suppliers and continue to make it a focus in Hallmark's supplier diversity program.”

Veteran focused Diversity Spending Programs are an $80 billion dollar market in the United States. “As with all our sponsors, we value Hallmark’s ongoing commitment to working with Veteran Business Owners. Through certification, SD/VOBs have access to Supplier Diversity Programs like Hallmark which opens up many opportunities not previously available to SD/VOBs. NVBDC advocates for Veteran Business Owners and continues to find opportunities to help SD/VOBs be successful,” said Keith King, President NVBDC.

Other corporations who support the NVBDC in certifying SD/VOBs include the 28 member corporations of the Billion Dollar Roundtable, Kellogg's, AT&T, General Motors, Ford, JP Morgan Chase & Co., PPG, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan and Minnesota, Facebook, BMW, Google, Microsoft, Apple, Bank of America, GM and many more.

Mission:
The NVBDC is the only Veteran Owned Business Certification organization developed by Veterans, for Veterans. The purpose is to provide a credible and reliable certifying authority for all size businesses ensuring that valid documentation exists of Veteran ownership and control.
