Honda near agreement with Canada on $6bn EV plant

TOKYO -- Honda Motor is set to reach an agreement with the Canadian government on a project to build a new electric vehicle factory in the country, Nikkei learned Tuesday.

Under the agreement, the Japanese automaker will receive subsidies and other financial assistance from Ottawa.
